POSITION: Customer Service Representative
LOCATION: Plainview, Texas
SALARY: Negotiable, depending upon experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
AgTexas Farm Credit Services serves approximately 2,500 borrowers in a 43 county trade territory. The association has an average volume of approximately $1.76 billion. The loan portfolio consists of cotton, peanuts, livestock, dairy, feed grains, real estate and ag-related business loans. The association territory provides diversity in production and mortgage loans as well as commodities financed.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) or more years of experience in general office/clerical operations. General knowledge of accounting/financial systems and loan documentation requirements. General knowledge of title insurance, crop insurance and credit life insurance documentation. Skill in oral and written communication. Basic skill level in Microsoft Office applications. Skill in delivering excellent customer service is required.
JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Performs intermediate-level general office support that may be somewhat complex in nature.
Performs various loan administrative and servicing duties including answering borrower's questions and routing applications, data entry, monitoring insurance requirements, and reporting.
Processes loan payments and performs related tasks required to service loans.
Greets customers and answers incoming calls to department staff, representing department or association in a professional manner. Arranges appointments and handles travel arrangements as required.
Fosters good member/public relations.
Uses computer systems to assist department in activities such as preparing reports and budgets. May store/manipulate data through various software programs, spreadsheets and databases.
May coordinate and schedule external and internal meetings, training activities, seminars, etc.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Frequent interaction with customers, association departmental staff and management. Occasional interaction with Farm Credit Bank of Texas staff. Occasional interaction with area professionals including real estate agents, commercial bankers, and others who deal with the association in the normal course of business.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
